Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a specialized form of manual therapy that uses a gentle, rhythmic touch to support and assist the lymphatic system in doing its job to help you recover from injuries or illnesses and keep you healthy.
In an MLD session the therapist will manually push excess fluid towards your lymph nodes and lymphatic ducts, working with your body’s natural physiological processes. Clients who receive MLD treatments often experience a reduction in swelling or bloating, feeling more energetic, faster recovery times from hard athletic training and faster healing times after illness, surgery or injury.

During your Manual Lymphatic Drainage Session your therapist will you very light pressure to push excess fluid toward your lymph nodes and lymphatic ducts throughout your body. Light rhythmic strokes are used on your extremities, back, neck, face and neck, as well of your abdomen. These sessions are done on a massage table undressed under sheets. MLD is available in 75 or 90 minute sessions. The 75 minute session is a basic full body treatment that includes facial and abdominal manual lymphatic drainage. The 90 minute session is extended to include a longer abdominal treatment, foot, neck and scalp massage, and extra attention to a specific problem area, if applicable.

Kristin Tri
My ideal client is someone active, wellness minded, possibly experiencing chronic pain either from injuries or activities of daily living. Neck & Shoulder pain is where I thrive.

Kelly Seeley
I view the body as a whole; decipher the root cause of pain, the main area of concern & surrounding muscle groups. I love to incorporate hot packs or cupping techniques to work tissue issues.

Jamie Newsome - Eaton
I enjoy working with clients with this unique form of manual therapy to support the bodies’ natural lymphatic process. I love hearing how clients experience the benefits of MLD. I'm excited for barefoot massage.

It is rewarding helping a client walk away feeling better, looser, and more in tune with their own body, also expand the understanding of different massage techniques, and how impactful the results can be.
